Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner in General Medicine – MN Are you
a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for serving Veterans
and improving healthcare outcomes? We are seeking a skilled Locum
Nurse Practitioner specializing in General Medicine to provide
essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health
Assessments across Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity to
contribute to our nation's Veterans while enjoying flexible hours
and competitive pay rates. In this role, you will perform
interview-based assessments and some physical evaluations in a
supportive, administrative setting. No prescribing or treatment
involved, with quick credentialing and onboarding processes. As a
part-time, PRN position, you can choose to work half days (4 hours)
or full days (8 hours), fitting seamlessly into your schedule.
Required Skills: Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Minnesota
Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic
surgery, or general medicine Strong interview and physical
assessment skills (range of motion, muscle strength testing)
Ability to work independently within a defined geographic radius
Excellent communication and organizational skills Reliable with a
high level of professionalism Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience
with Compensation & Pension exams Knowledge of veteran healthcare
processes Certification in relevant advanced practice areas
Preferred Education and Experience: Current Nurse Practitioner
license in Minnesota Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in
general or internal medicine Experience in a provider role with
Compensation & Pension evaluations preferred but not mandatory
Other Requirements: Provider’s own office within 25 miles of
designated locations (Detroit Lakes, Bemidji, Rochester) Ability to
work PRN, ongoing basis Travel reimbursement included in rates
Willingness to complete required training and perform initial exams
to qualify for bonuses Enjoy a competitive hourly pay rate of
