Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Provide specialized occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting located in Anoka, MN, supporting students fine motor development and overall functional skills. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate between 0.2 to 0.4 FTE. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 15 to 20 students, adjusted according to FTE. Collaborate closely with a team comprising one full-time Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed (OTR/L) and two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), who provide most direct student interventions. Utilize evidence-based curricula such as Handwriting Without Tears to improve students fine motor abilities, focusing mainly on handwriting skills. Implement Interception intervention techniques as part of regular therapy sessions to enhance student outcomes. Adapt scheduling and therapy delivery to meet the needs of both students and the school calendar, with flexible days and times. Qualifications and Experience: Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) required. Experience working within K-12 school environments preferred. Proficiency with fine motor skill development and handwriting intervention. Familiarity with Handwriting Without Tears curriculum and Interception intervention models is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively with therapy assistants and educational staff. Location: Anoka, Minnesota (serving a local school district).
