Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Social Worker to join our dedicated team. This role involves providing key social services to underserved communities, focusing on enhancing holistic health and wellness outcomes. As a part of our Social Services department, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to administer care that improves the lives of our patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social work principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ethical practice. Assess client’s needs, situations, strengths, and support networks to determine their goals Develop plans to improve clients’ well-being by collaborating with other healthcare professionals Help clients adjust to changes and challenges in their lives, such as illness, divorce, or unemployment Respond to crisis situations such as child abuse and mental health emergencies Provide information on resources, such as healthcare services, food stamps, and child care Follow up with clients to ensure their situations have improved Maintain detailed records and report on clients' status Strong interpersonal and communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities In-depth knowledge of social work theory and practices Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Crisis intervention skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Valid state clinical social worker license
