Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A temporary school social worker position is available to provide leave coverage for a high school setting in Elk River, MN. This role focuses on supporting students with social-emotional needs and collaborating with school staff and families to foster student success. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct social work services addressing students social-emotional challenges and crisis situations Assist in attendance support and intervention strategies Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, families, and community resources to support student well-being Provide consistent support to a caseload of high-school-aged students within a public school environment Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and guidelines Qualifications: Valid Minnesota School Social Worker license (LGSW, LISW, or LICSW according to district requirements) Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a school social worker preferred Comfortable working with adolescents in a secondary school setting Ability to commit to the full assignment duration from late February through the end of the school year Strong crisis intervention, communication, and collaboration skills Location: High school in the Elk River, MN area This temporary contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students lives during a maternity leave period.
