Institute Foundation (MHIF), a Biostatistician plays a vital role
in advancing cardiovascular innovation through data-driven
discovery. In this position, you do more than run analyses or
generate reports—you help design rigorous studies, translate
complex data into meaningful insights, and strengthen MHIF’s
mission to improve heart health and save lives through high-quality
research. Job Summary: The Investigator?Initiated Research (IIR)
Program is seeking a kind, curious, and dedicated biostatistician
to join our team and help drive innovation in clinical research. In
this role, you will provide comprehensive statistical support
across a diverse portfolio of clinical studies. Responsibilities
include contributing to study design, developing and implementing
statistical analysis plans, conducting data analyses, and
supporting dissemination efforts through publications, grants, and
scientific communications. This is an onsite position out of our
Minneapolis, MN office. Only local candidates will be considered
for this role. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clinical
investigators to provide end?to?end statistical support for
clinical studies, including study design, data quality checks, data
formatting, statistical programming, and analysis. Provide
statistical support for the annual college intern program,
including guidance, mentorship, and project?related analyses.
Review, summarize, and present methodological approaches relevant
to each study for study teams. Communicate insights effectively
using data visualizations and clear written and verbal
communication tailored to clinical and scientific audiences.
Support dissemination efforts by preparing summaries and
documentation that clearly communicates methods, results, and
interpretations of study findings. Assist with research reports and
scientific publications, including programming customized tables
and figures and providing statistical details related to study
design and conduct. Contribute to the development and refinement of
statistical standards, procedures, and methodologies within the
Statistics team. Maintain up?to?date knowledge of statistical
methodologies and programming techniques, with emphasis on R and
related tools. Assist with grant writing, including statistical
content, study design justification, and preliminary data

Bring urgency and resilience to solving problems. What Sets You
Apart: Desired Education and Experience MS degree in biostatistics
or statistics. 1-2 years of experience in statistics, clinical
research, pharmaceutical clinical trials, statistical programming,
DATA analysis 3 years of experience in R programming Critical
thinking, ability to understand basic medical information and
process methodological, clinical, and scientific information
Knowledge of and experience with clinical trial design, principles
of data analysis, survival methods, inferential and predictive
modeling, longitudinal data analysis. Ability to work
independently, take initiative and adhere to deadlines with quality
under pressure Ability to prioritize the workload across multiple
projects Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Work effectively as a team member Computing skills (Access, MS
office) Must have strong verbal and written English Relationships:
In this role you will be working closely with clinical
investigators, research scholars and the IIR team and informatics
experts. You will also actively support research efforts during the
annual summer internship program. Physical Requirements Necessary
to Perform the Job In this position, you must be able to: Work at a
computer for long periods of time Walk between hospital, clinic,
Allina Lab and office as needed Work during non-traditional working
