If you're motivated to help clients become more financially independent and driven by the knowledge that you're making a real difference for your clients, you may be a great fit.-- ResponsibilitiesAs a licensed agent, you will be responsible for meeting with potential clients to conduct a needs assessment so your ability to build rapport with strangers and make them comfortable enough to give you sensitive financial information is critical. Your ability to maintain 100% focus on the client's goals is critical because, based on that data, you will make an appropriate recommendation to solve the client's immediate need and to help put them on a path to better overall financial health. This means that you'll need to know your client, know your products and be able to educate your client on the benefits of the solution you're presenting.-- RequirementsNo insurance or sales experience is needed. In fact, it usually gets in the way! Successful agents are motivated and hard working. Your success is directly tied to your ability to motivate yourself and your discipline in creating and sticking to a schedule. In addition to your work ethic and great attitude, you will need the following:You must be able to obtain your insurance producer license in your home state including both Life and Accident/Health lines. Through our relationship with--Equis Financial, our agents have access to industry-leading training, including the state-mandated pre-licensing courses. We also offer assistance paying for this course and resident license in some cases.We typically meet with our clients at their homes, so--you must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle and automobile insurance.You will need a laptop computer, cell phone and reliable internet connection at home and in the field. Our carriers typically use web-based quoting tools and applications, so any computer able to run a current version of Firefox or Chrome is sufficient. We Take Care of Our AgentsIn addition to training and a collaborative atmosphere, we set our agents up for success by handling many of the mundane back-office type headaches that would otherwise bog you down and keep you from selling, including:use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and email servers;VoIP Telephone Service, with your own direct dial number linked to the--CRM so you never miss an email or call;access to a shared inventory of leads to help you get started writing business sooner; andcoaching on how to be a successful business-person.
