Job Description:
Job DescriptionPartner with Regional Sales Managers (RSM),
Regional Financial Advice Sales Consultants (FASC), and Regional
Sales Directors (RSD) to drive best in class organic growth of
Ameriprise advisors as measured by net flows, target market client
acquisition, and advice through helping advisors implement the
Ideal Practice Model and modernize their practice through proactive
coaching programs.Responsibilities
- Obtain required licenses/credentials within 120 days of hire:
FINRA Series 7; State Securities (Series 63 or 66); State IAR
(Series 65 or 66); Attend and engage in required coaching and
training.
- Participate in job shadowing and learning the roles of the FASC
and RSM coaching programs, including the format of coaching (Focus
Groups / 1:1 coaching), and the core principals for each. Attend
and participate in all RSM/FASC team meetings and functions.
- Communicate with advisors/operations partners to articulate
RSM/FASC coaching programs (1:1/Focus Groups), identify key
operations partners inside the practice who manages the advisor
schedule and schedule time with RSM/FASC coach, learn sales and
relationship building skills with both advisors and advisor
staff.
- Provide assistance to the RSD/RSM/FASC teams by doing prep work
for coaching programs by leveraging the various Ameriprise
reporting packages to identify specific Net Flow Opportunities for
RSD's, Client Acquisition opportunities for RSM's, and Financial
Advice opportunities for FASC's. Additional tasks include Microsoft
Teams set up and usage, and preparation of materials for Focus
Groups such as a review of lead measures reporting for the various
programs as well as supporting the pre-work and post-work
communication and accountability.
- Respond to requests received via e-mail, phone, and Microsoft
Teams from Field Leaders, RSD, RSM, and FASC regarding various
programs, messages, and materials related to client acquisition,
financial advice, and sales strategies. Utilize a computer-based
tracking system to monitor incoming requests and responses. Refer
product specific type calls and issues to the functional subject
matter experts on internal product support desks.Required
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a
demonstrated ability to interact effectively with advisors over the
phone and video conference calls.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage
multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience working collaboratively with a wide variety
of partners.
- Dynamic interpersonal and consultative skills.
