We use cutting-edge materials and state-of-the-art design technology to deliver products across a broad range of industries including renewable energy, medical device, aerospace/aviation/automotive, electronics, food processing, instrumentation, industrial control, telecommunications and HVAC applications.Role Overview And Responsibilities

  • Performs as the additional point of contact for customer inquiries on new opportunities.
  • Initiates New Project Data forms as applicable. Initiates Epicor Quote and tasks in ERP systems as applicable. Participates in quote reviews for assigned regions and projects
  • Understand customer specifications and recommends the correct products
  • Interfaces with Design Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Protype technicians, Business Development Managers, Finance and customers to deliver on time to the customer.
  • Coordinates resolution of issues as applicable. Examines delivery schedules and estimates of costs of material and production to ensure completeness and accuracy in quotations
  • Performs additional activities associated with quotation processing, sales forecasting, contract negotiating, as well as coordination and monitoring of the monthly shipment plan.
  • Acts in the project coordinator role for assigned customer projects
  • Support SIOP process with New Product plan inputs
  • Ensures compliance to contractual requirements and maintains design history file per internal company procedures and FDA regulations.
  • Works with engineering in the development of new products or redesign of existing products.
  • Recommends new processes, where needed, to improve on-time delivery, quality, and productivity.
  • Assists in the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Goal Setting associated with assigned customers and products. Responsible for profit and sales growth goals set in those plans. In this connection, monitors and reports monthly bookings, shipments, costs, and profit. Recommends corrective action when plan variances occur .
  • Achieve positive customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Performs other related duties of similar complexity as directed. Qualifications, Skills And Attributes
    • Bachelor's Degree with a solid understanding of manufacturing business with at least 3-5 years' experience in medical device industry
    • Detailed background in scheduling and managing task flow environments and basic understanding of MRP and Epicor.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a customer centric viewpoint.
    • Demonstrated hands-on approach and an ability to work effectively in a team-based environment across all levels of organization
    • Extensive costing and pricing experience
    • Ability to push hard and affect change in a fast-paced, dynamic, high standards environment while maintaining a positive approach with peers, subordinates and customers.
