Department Overview
This department specializes in outpatient nutrition counseling on
pediatric nutrition issues. They also provide inpatient assessments
and education as well as some on-going support with outpatient
follow-up.
Position Summary
A technical position which assumes responsibility for the
nutritional well being of patients receiving sustenance provided by
the department of Nutrition Services. This includes direct tray
service, foods stocked on the patient unit, and all enteral
formulas. Responsibilities include: monitoring computer messages
and processing orders, completing nutrition screenings and
assessments, taking Room Service calls and processing orders, menu
correction, calorie count calculations, establishing nourishment's
as needed, calculation and preparation of enteral formulas,
provides nutrition education as appropriate, maintains high level
of patient satisfaction and quality assurance and participates in
related patient care activities.
DHS required: Yes
Location: Onsite
Dietary Aid experience or a student in a current dietetic program.
Pediatric experience preferred.

The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple
jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of
factors including but not limited to market indicators for the
specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and
experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is
just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's
