Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Openings:
O shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday -
6am - 6pm - 6% shift differential - 2 openings
Compensation:
$28/hr - $35/hr + OT + shift differential + 6% company annual bonus
+ relocation bonus = 1st year W-2 -$75K-$95K

Position Description:
The Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for
performing the set-up, calibration, verification and
troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, mechanical
assemblies, and finished process modules with a minimal degree of
supervision. The ET determines and may assist in the development of
test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints,
drawings, and diagrams. In this role, you may complete rework on
assemblies and/or systems because of testing and prepare technical
reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to
technical problems.
--- Manage client's projects, including gathering pretest
information, and providing constant customer service
--- Provide expertise in the control of electromagnetic emissions
and immunity through design recommendations and review of product
designs
--- Perform preventive maintenance & repairs/calibrations on
production equipment & systems.
--- Clearly document maintenance activities/work performed and
complete pm checklists/procedures
--- Work with engineering team to improve pm procedures and
documentation
Requirements:
The ideal qualified candidates will be former military technicians
or industry experience technicians with solid electronic
maintenance experience. Experience trouble shooting electronic
problems is required along with solid mechanical aptitude.
Candidates must possess demonstrated technical training experience
in electricity, electronics or equipment maintenance and be capable
of logic and sequential development and troubleshooting, including
proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and electrical
schematics. Technicians are motivated self-starters who are
team-oriented, comfortable working with people in a dynamic
troubleshooting and problem-solving environment, and commitment to
quality.
--- Proficiency in electrical circuits, pneumatics, and mechanical
systems
--- Knowledge of test and calibration equipment (i.e. O-scopes,
DMMs).
--- PC skills and familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint.
--- Previous experience on vacuum and/or semiconductor
manufacturing equipment preferred but not required (PVD, PECVD,
CMP, LPCVD, etc.)
