Position Overview









We are currently seeking an energetic and dependable maintenance person for our Coon Rapids location. This is a 3rd shift position that would work in all areas of our facility. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager or shift Lead and will assist with the overall maintenance and reliability improvement efforts for the plant. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance to ensure all machines are functioning safely and efficiently. The maintenance technician also respond to machine and/or system failures and must be able to troubleshoot when necessary.













Responsibilities

• Machine and equipment repairs
• Building and property repairs
• Install, overhaul, and rebuild machines or other property
• General welding and torch use
• Self-directed completion of outstanding maintenance requisitions
• Steam system maintenance
• Machine troubleshooting using electrical testers, blue prints and schematics
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance shop
• Perform roll changes (anilox, rubber, corrugating, glue, etc.)
• Replace and/or tune blades on Marquip cutoff knife
• Order parts and expedite delivery - understand purchase order completion and related paperwork
• Follows product safety and quality management policies, procedures, and expectations

  Qualifications
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Welding experience
  • Machinery and equipment installation experience
  • Machine troubleshooting experience
  • Boilers license or ability to obtain Special Engineer Boilers license
  • Completed classwork for pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical with passing grades
  • Ability to read an electrical ladder diagram to troubleshoot machines
  • Working knowledge of Valco glue units
  • Ability to read an 1/0 diagram for a PLC or SLC

    Hiring bonus $1000. Pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.
