Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Management Associate follows established
departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance
programs, and safety standards. This position will perform physical
and inventory related tasks in Supply Chain Logistics involving
receiving, storage, delivery, picking, and replenishment of
supplies and select durable medical equipment used throughout the
hospital campus or central distribution center to promote a
clinically-integrated Supply Chain. This position is responsible
for checking expiration dates, stock rotation using FIFO, removal
of excess inventory, providing support to maintain accurate
inventory counts, and delivering supplies to departmental units.
Functions include counting par level areas according to schedule
and promptly stock supplies in assigned unit. Provide an expedited
response to emergency supply requests within established guidelines
set forth by management. Ensure items have the appropriate bar
codes and rotate stock to ensure no items are out of date.
As the frontline of Supply Chain operations, this position is the
first to interact with customers and is expected to be ambassadors
of the business which requires excellent people skills, exceptional
verbal communications skills, and an ability to be patient, calm,
and accommodating. This role will promote teamwork and
collaboration with co-workers, customers, and leadership to
problem-solve and promote innovative solutions in order to provide
excellent service for our clinical partners and patients. Performs
duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our
mission, values, and Mayo Clinic standards.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: (Education
Requirements and Experience):
High school diploma or GED required and one year of work
experience.
Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: (Has Achieved
Competency in the Following Areas, Job Knowledge and Additional
Considerations):
Utilize pallet jacks, robotics, and other similar heavy duty
materials handling equipment to locate, determine levels, and move
supplies.
Requires the physical ability to frequently walk and stand for more
than 95% of work time when performing duties.
Requires the physical ability to frequently push and pull carts,
medical gas tanks, and supplies weighing more than 100 pounds.
Requires considerable variety of steady active physical exertion
with standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, twisting, bending, and
lifting up to 80% of the work time while performing duties.
Ability to individually lift and carry heavy items weighing up to
50 pounds.
Beginning to Intermediate computer and software skills.
Licensure/Certification Required:
A small subset of employees may be asked to drive and a driver's
license would be required under those circumstances.

Schedule Details
Five 8-hour shifts, Monday - Sunday from 6:00am - 2:30pm, and
occasionally 9:30am - 6:00pm. Schedule may be subject to change to
support hospital and patient needs. This position is a 1.0 Full
Time Equivalent (FTE) which means 80 hours biweekly.
Weekend Schedule
Staff are scheduled holiday & weekend rotations. These are
typically planned in advance but may change to support hospital and
patient needs. The typical schedule is an 8-hour shift between
6:00am - 6:00pm.
