Job Description
We are seeking a Production Supervisor with a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production team and ensuring that production targets are met in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate must have prior supervision experience.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise and manage the production team to ensure production targets are met
Develop and implement production schedules to optimize production output
Ensure that all production processes are performed in accordance with established safety procedures
Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate measures
Train and develop production team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of production activities
Maintain accurate production records and reports
Manage inventory levels and ensure that materials are available to support production schedules
Maintain a clean and organized production area
Job Requirements
High diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior supervision experience required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team
Knowledge of production processes and procedures
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software
