GAM: Senior Operations Coordinator

KBR's areas of expertise include engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity.

This role is with KBR's GAM, Global Asset Management group. At GAM, we provide our customers with a range of services including Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance, and Facilities Project Management.

The Senior Operations Coordinator will:

  • Display core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
  • Apply broad functional knowledge and experience within the Aerospace Administrative, Engineering, and Integrated Supply Chain organizations.
  • Leverage depth of knowledge within the Government and customer asset management communities.
  • Maintain Government approved business systems that are fully compliant with Government, customer, and contractual requirements, as well as pertinent Aerospace policies and procedures.
  • Support or manage Self-Assessments of the 10 Government Property Management Outcomes identified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), specifically FAR 45 and 52.245-1.
  • Function under minimal direction, guided by specific objectives or statements from contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs), contract deliverables, and outcome metrics.
  • Adhere and perform to Organizational Goals.
  • Support unit objectives, work plans, schedules, and ensure completion of established requirements and assignments.
  • Provide oversight to overall risk mitigation and compliance integrity.
  • Develop and ensure execution of corrective action plans.
  • Support the Sites' Property Coordinators/Custodians Committee meetings.
  • Develop and prepare metrics and related reports using Visual Management techniques and analyze metric data to enhance current processes.
  • Participate in site leader's HOS Tier 4 accountability process as a functional manager.
  • Support internal Tier accountability boards and escalation model/processes, as applicable.
  • Actively participate in Six-Sigma, Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA), Gemba walks, Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) teams and other related tools in problem solving activities.
  • Act with authority delegated from Site Leader and/or GPSM (Government Property Site Manager) in all functions within Aero site.
  • Work cross functionally to justify and seek agreement of other parties on compliance practices, policies, and standards.
  • Coordinate with site stakeholders to implement process changes affecting cross functional groups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of directly related experience.
    • A High School Diploma or equivalent with an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Must have knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

      Preferred Qualifications:
      • NPMA certification (CPPS or CPPA).
      • SAP user knowledge.
      • eQUIP or AssetSmart or equivalent property system user knowledge.
      • PIEE system knowledge.
      • Six Sigma Green Belt.
