Maintenance Electronics Technician Duties and Responsibilities -----"- Assists supervisors and technicians with technical support (electronics, PLCs, robotics) in the installation, maintenance, and repairs of facility equipment.
- Follows all safety and SOP regulations and procedures, including the Mustad Performance System (MPS)
- Assists with training, coaching, and monitoring of technicians, as well as supporting production team in providing feedback for process improvement, failure analysis and problem resolution
- Is responsible for supporting of all maintenance activities related with electronic components, PLC--------s maintenance and programming, robotics maintenance and programming programs on an established schedule using the PM software, and provides documentation as needed and reports
- Performs preventative maintenance on an established schedule, including testing on energized electrical equipment if needed.
- Conducts failure analysis to develop and lead improvement activities and projects across manufacturing and distribution functions
- Performs other duties as requested by management
Maintenance Electronics Technician Requirements and Qualifications -----"- Training and/or certification in electronic, electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotics
- 5+ years of general maintenance experience including trouble shooting and correcting problems with PLC, Robotics, electronic, electrical, hydraulics, pumps and motors, control circuits and power supply may be considered in lieu of formal training
- Continuous improvement mindset with a strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and principles
- Computer proficiency, including MS office platform
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated skills with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Demonstrated proficiency with robotic operation/ maintenance
- Ability to read, write and speak English
Desirable Skills/Attributes (preferred but not required)
- Ability to train and coach others, contribute as a team member
- Experience with TPM standards and development
