- Minimum 1-year experience in job estimating.
- Detail oriented, precise and well organized.
- Have a strong work ethic. Willing to do whatever it takes to
get the job done, including demonstrating flexible work hours as
demands and deadlines require.
- Knowledge in floor covering (carpet, tile, wood, and vinyl)
would be helpful but is not required.
- Track record of meeting hard deadlines that are directly tied
to revenue generation.
- Ability to multi task and transition between projects
simultaneously to meet multiple customer demands.
- Must be proficient with MS Office software. -Primary Objective:
- Prepare proposal/bid package for client presentation and
review
- Perform accurate take-offs using computer software programs
(Planswift, Callidus) and Microsoft Excel.
- Identify scope gaps, and clarify plans and specifications with
architects and engineers
- Communicate with a wide variety of professionals
- Consistently strive to improve individual capabilities,
performance and expand knowledge of construction technologies and
