Vaxxinova US is seeking a Production Technician to join our team in Willmar, MN. As a key member of the Central Services department the Production Technician is responsible for providing clean equipment needed to manufacture vaccines daily. This position is an evening shift position with primary hours between 4:00 PM-12 AM Monday through Friday with potential overtime depending on production schedules. There may be flexibility within these hours.Main Responsibilities:Track, test, and maintain filters used for productionDecontamination, washing and rinsing of equipment used for vaccine manufacturingDisassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of production equipmentPreparing/Wrapping equipment for sterilizationDaily communication with other departments to strategically ensure equipment is ready for usePerforming daily department cleaning and maintenance of a clean work environment to assure sterilityRecording of all necessary information immediately upon completion of a taskCompleting and documenting ongoing/reoccurring required training of standard operating procedures and safety training modulesAssisting other manufacturing departments when schedule permitsOther duties as assigned Qualifications and Capabilities:Basic math skills requiredGeneral proficiency with MS OfficeMechanical problem-solving experience or aptitude are a huge plusAbility to multitask and prioritize workSelf-starter with ability to prioritize work and passion for detailed completion of assigned dutiesStrong organization, time management, and problem-solving skillsClear, legible handwriting skills requiredAbility to make independent decisionsAbility to stand on your feet for extended periods, twisting, turning, reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping required; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally One (1) to two (2) years in a manufacturing environment preferred but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Two (2) year degree in any technical field preferred Benefits at Vaxxinova US:We are proud to offer a generous benefit package in addition to competitive compensation.
