Electrical Assembler's in Hamel, MN - $25.64/Hour Our Electrical Assembler's workweek is Monday to Friday with hours starting at 06:00 am until 04:30 pm This job is a Skilled Industrial type position that that pays $25.64/Hour and is a Temp-to-hire opportunity. Electrical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities -- Work as a team member with other assembly related activities on large railroad maintenance equipment. - An ability to interpret panel assembly requirements and install panel components correctly. - How to terminate wires without having a reference schematic. - The ability to bolt and attach enclosures to machine. - Correctly locate and gather parts from the parts storage area - Locate, understand, and apply shop order packets and production process flows- Read and understand standard work documents, blueprints, and schematics- This role utilizes a variety of technical competencies with primary focus in electrical. - Incumbents will have a higher level of competence in electrical, but able to learn skills in other disciplines, in order to efficiently perform essential functions in that specific technical area. - Incumbents are expected to perform work assignments in other disciplines at any time, based on the needs of the business.- Understands and applies shop rules, proper safety and PPE at all times and references MSDS to remain safe- Understands proper use and care of required tools- Understands electrical components and can read and interpret basic electrical engineering prints- Understands the purpose of a quality management system and is able to retrieve relevant standard work documents- Demonstrates an ability to interpret panel assembly requirements, and install panel components correctly- Demonstrates knowledge of electrical tool location, identification, safe use and proper care Electrical Assembler Requirements and Qualifications -- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily- High School diploma or GED required- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts- Effectively communicate and understand job instructions in the English language- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations- 6 Months+ Manufacturing assembly experience - could be a combination of education and experience in fluid, welding, electrical or electronics, mechanical disciplines - Ability to lift 25 lbs. when required How to Apply for Award Staffing's Electrical Assembler's in Hamel, MNWe at Award Staffing are excited to speak with you about this fantastic opportunity to build your future!
