Metro Sheet Metal Inc has been serving the Twin Cities metro area since 1996. We are a stable and growing commercial and industrial HVAC union sheet metal contractor. We perform a wide array of projects from plan and spec, design build, design assist and service projects. We have our own inhouse metal shop for fabrication of ductwork and other metal projects to meet our customers needs.
Due to our continued growth we are looking for an experienced Project Manager/estimator to join our growing team. This is a full time position with excellent pay, benefits, retirement package and bonuses based on year end sales.
Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position will possess 3+ years of project management experience and estimating in the sheet metal HVAC field. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated and driven to take complete ownership over their role.-Perform take-offs for ductwork and HVAC equipment and assemble accurate estimates.-Work with our team to provide design-build HVAC ductwork layouts for take offs and equipment sizing.-Understanding of best HVAC design practices-Adhere to safety best practices-Understanding and experience with , Microsoft products, construction management software. Trimble Auto bids is a plus.-Successfully able to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.-Strong problem-solving and analytical-thinking skills.-Must be proficient in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
