Job Description:

Plan and buy raw materials, components and equipment at the lowest cost and highest quality to support the Cambria manufacturing operations. Optimize on-hand inventory levels using demand planning, supplier lead time and plant production scheduling to insure uninterrupted supply to the manufacturing lines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Keep work area clean and orderly * Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) * Additional duties as assigned by management * Read and understand the manufacturing production schedule * Maintain knowledge of raw materials * Place purchasing orders with suppliers * Manage sources of supply for price, delivery and other key metrics * Manage vendor and supplier relationships * Coordinate with Quality in documenting and resolving supplier corrective action reports (SCAR) * Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand of product utilizing the ERP system and scheduling board * Make purchasing decisions in accordance with company procedures and regulations * Collaborate with department managers to clarify purchase requisitions and refine for future purchase orders * Build strong relationships with internal and external business partners, fostering collaboration and teamwork * Develop and implement efficiencies, standardized tools, practices and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: * Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation * Strong computer skills using Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel) * 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment * Strong interpersonal skills to develop strong trusting relationships with internal and external partners * Experience using ERP, Oracle or SAP Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: 3+ years of buying experience in a manufacturing environment Systems: Experience using Oracle iProcure, Softco, Kissflow Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent * Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills * Basic math and analytical skills * Strong computer skills using Oracle, Tableau, and complex Excel spreadsheets * High initiative, self-directed and motivated * Strong business and financial acumen * High attention to details * Strong organization skills * Able to effectively manage multiple competing priorities * Understanding of full cycle supply chain activities * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Managerial Responsibilities: No Travel Requirements: N/A Physical Requirements: * Sit/stand for short periods of time during a shift for up to eight hours, with intermittent breaks * Work behind a computer for long periods of time during shift for up to nine hours * Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: N/A
