LocumJobsOnline is working with LocumTenens.com to find a qualified Internal Medicine MD in Minnesota!About The PositionA Women's Geriatric Facility is seeking family medicine locums coverage.
Discover serene lakes, wooded hills and endearing towns in the heart of central Minnesota.
This 3-6 month position (4/10s, flexible days) is open to MDs, DOs, NPs, or PAs. Credentialing takes about a week for MDs and up to 90 days for APPs. Patient-facing hours are 8 AM to 5 PM. Phone call coverage (8 PM-6 AM) occurs 2-3 times over six months, with 5-7 calls per week.
The provider will see 18-22 patients daily, focusing on women 65+. MN license and DEA are required; COVID/flu vaccines preferred. The role includes follow-ups (20 min), annual visits (40 min), and new patient visits (60 min). Athena EMR is used, and an onsite lab is available. Candidates need 3-5 years of experience (no new grads).
