looking for a talented engineer to join our systems engineering
team at Medtronic Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health.The Senior
Systems Engineer will have responsibility for supporting our
products throughout the entire development life cycle, which means
you'll participate in all aspects of product development---from
concept exploration, system definition & design, testing, issue
investigation & resolution, and continuous improvement. You will
play a crucial role in driving projects through the product
development process using your solid engineering understanding,
energetic team attitude, results-driven spirit, and focused
attention on excelling when presented with
challenges.Responsibilities may include the following and other
duties may be assigned.
- You will support requirements capture, maintenance, and
management at varying levels of detail.
- You will serve as the team's information conduit between the
stakeholders, development teams, and V&V groups.
- You'll also perform technical analysis using functional
analysis, timeline analysis, and trade studies.
- Monitor and investigate post-market product performance
issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to
hardware, software, and system behaviors.
- Perform regular product testing (characterization,
verification, etc..)
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification,
and validation; evaluates alternatives, including cost and risk,
supportability, and analyses for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system
product, including concept, design, fabrication, test,
installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product
requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge
technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade
studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
to translate customer requirements into hardware and software
specifications.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and recommend
improvements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to
enhance system capabilities and performance.Must-Have: Minimum
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree
- Minimum of 4 years of system engineering experience or advanced
degree with a minimum of 2 years experience.Nice to Have .
- Advanced degree (MS or Higher) in Engineering or Scientific
discipline
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in requirements development, analysis, allocation,
review, and tracing
- Experience in implantable Class III devices
- Experience in functional analysis, interface definition
- A proven multitasker! You have demonstrated ability to work on
multiple projects in a deadline-driven and fast-paced
environment
- Experience developing a product in a regulated industry such as
medical device, defense, or automotive.
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Provide leadership and execution as needed for the maintenance
of requirements management systems, tools, and processesPhysical

offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may
vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education,
