Job Description:
RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Tech to join our flex pool
team. As a flex MRI Tech, you'll travel to our outpatient centers
in the Twin Cities (near you) working with a variety of team
members, Radiologists, and equipment to grow your skillset. Willing
to train if MRI is a modality you're interested in learning. This
position is fulltime working a variety of shifts between the hours
of 6:30am-10:30pm, includes differential pay and mileage for this
role (no call); includes weekend rotation. Part-time (30-39 hours
per week, benefit eligible) is also available.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:(75%) Patient ImagingPerforms routine and advanced
MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by
physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or
injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeatsScreens patient
before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to
the examinationPrepares patients for MR procedures that will be
performed, explaining the procedure, position patients so that the
parts of the body can be appropriately scanned, and providing
patient support by talking to patients throughout procedureAdjusts
scan parameters correctly and as neededMaintains positive attitude
and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and
other associates and peersConverses with doctors, nurses, patients
and family members as required.Follows physicians' orders precisely
and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their
patients, and coworkersAccurately maintains patient records within
Radiology Information System (RIS)Maintains an orderly and clean
work area promoting good safety habits for patients and
co-workers(20%) Imaging SupportMaintains equipment in good working
order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each useAssists with
maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software
upgradesMonitors medical supply inventoryAssists with training of
new associates, providing resource and technical expertise(5%)
Performs other duties as assignedRequirements:Required:ARMRIT or
ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standingGraduate
of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of
radiography licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate
state, if applicableCurrent Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
certificationValid driver's license and proof of current
