• Work directly with people with disabilities to help train, support, and coach them on their job.
• Model appropriate work skills
• Engage employees positively
• Evaluate work performance
• Provide proper documentation
• Support other Job Coaches when/if necessary
• Maintain safety in work environmentsWork Experience The preferred candidate should have:
  • Experience working with people with disabilities
  • One year delivering supported employment services
  • Direct care services experience (such as PCA, social work, life coaching, etc)
  • Patience
  • Ability to cope with emergency situations
  • Excellent/effective communication skills
  • Ability to kneel, climb stairs, walk, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs
  • Valid state-issued Driver's License (Required)
