This individual needs to have the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepresenting 's vision, mission, and experience Responsible for oversight of all field operations on your projectsResponsible for coordinating, directing, and supervising the quality of work and direct laborCoordinating materials and equipment neededEnsure that the requirements of the project are met with respect to safety, schedule, quality control and cost controlResolve site issues that may be out of the control of the project managersManaging multiple projects concurrentlyDirecting the work of each foreman and crew under you, according to owner, GC and architect requirements Mentoring and managing project foreman through the life of a project Maintaining consistent and effective communication with all team members including leadership of on site, crew discussions Responsibility for your project field cost controlsQuickly and professionally resolving all issues that may arise with the project on the jobsite and notifying the appropriate parties Acting as a hospitable point of contact between vendors and owners/GC throughout job scope, communicating effectively on a day-to-day basis to ensure the delivery of excellent projects Ensuring minimal impact on the jobsite and a zero-punch list through continual communication with field employees Owning the job by, consistently reviewing plans, drawings, specifications, and communicating with all team membersRequirements:Minimum QualificationsEducation/Experience3+ years of experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar position in construction managementValid driver's license Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to read, understand and implement project plans and documentsAbility to multitask and exercise independent judgment related to the daily administration of projectsProven communication skills; both written and verbalAptitude to anticipate problems and identify solutionsAbility to communicate highly detailed information between project managers, foreman, field crew, subcontractors, and architects/engineersAble to work in a team environment and foster positive and professional relationshipsHighly organized and disciplined Knowledge of construction related equipment and proper usePhysical RequirementsRequired to sit for long periods of time; stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop. EnvironmentWork is performed indoors (job-site trailer/office) and outdoors (construction site). Travel required as needed.
