Minneapolis.We are seeking a CT Technologist to support our
pediatric and adult imaging services. Typical schedule for this
position is; 11PM-7AM, Monday-Friday.This is a full time (80 hours
per 2 week pay period) position and phenomenal benefits are
available!We will also consider hiring two 0.5 FTE employees to
fill this vacancy (5 shifts per pay period). Schedule: This
position will be working 0.5 FTE (40 hours every two weeks). The
shift length will be 8 hours on the night shift. Typical Schedule
Week 1 Thursday and Friday 11PM-7AM, Week 2: Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday 11PM-7AM.This position is eligible for a $5000. new hire
sign-on bonus!Responsibilities/Job Description:The Computed
Tomography (CT) Technologist functions independently based on the
boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work
responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients
and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic
imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to
established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with
all members of the health care team. The technologist is
responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with
all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements
(ARRT).Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient
outcomesPerforms individualized, conscientious patient carePerforms
high quality examinationsIdentifies relevant data from images
accuratelyUses appropriate communication skills to meet
patient/family, and other customer needs.Communicates pertinent
data clearly to the appropriate health care
professionalParticipates in crafting a culture of patient
safetyDemonstrates knowledge of emergency preparednessVerify
patient identification and documentationConnect with and educate
patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of
examAchieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient
positioning and use of technical factors according to
protocolApplies established professional guidelines and standards
to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing
proceduresEnsures patient data integrityAdheres to radiologic
safety guidelines and diagnostic testing
protocols/proceduresAccurately documents in compliance with
regulatory agency requirements, completes computer functions,
edits, scheduling, and billing status changesFollows infection
control guidelinesServes as a resource for other healthcare team
membersResponds appropriately to emergent situationsAccurate image
marking and digital image manipulation and archivingAssesses the
validity of the test results to determine if consistent with
changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering
substancesActs as a resource for problem-solving
resolutionCompleted all require continuing education to uphold
their imaging licensureParticipates as an active team
memberParticipates in department/facility process/quality
improvement initiativesResponsible for personal and professional

manufacturer recommendationsQualifications:Required:Current
Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology
(ARRT)Basic Life Support - Current and from American Heart
Association or American Red CrossPreferred:1 or more years of
experience in a related roleAdditional certifications in
ImagingARRT CT certification or successful completion within 18
monthsAdditional Preferred Qualifications:Understanding of current
MN Dept of Health RegulationsKnowledge of quality control and
safety standardsPrevious experience in diagnostic imagingStrong
interpersonal skillsExperience and strong desire to work with
