Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
2+ years of call center experience
Intermediate level of proficiency using a computer, including
internet searches and Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Managed care experience
Casework experience at hospitals, social service agencies or
community mental health centers
Medical/Behavioral setting experience (i.e. hospital, managed care
organization, or joint medical/behavioral outpatient practice)
Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance
abuse
Experience working in an environment that required coordination of
benefits and utilization of multiple groups and resources for
patients
Experience working with low-income populations
Experience working with the aged, blind or disabled
Working knowledge of community based resources and services
Soft Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills - specifically
telephone skills
Demonstrated effective organizational skills and scheduling skills
as observed in day-to-day work
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Strong spelling and highly legible handwriting; type 30-40+ wpm
accurately
Attention to detail, as observed in day to day work
Creative problem solving skills with the ability to use community
and network resources to meet members' needs
Telecommuting Requirements:
Access to a dedicated work area established that is separated from
other living areas and provides information privacy
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if
applicable)
Reside in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved
high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed
internet service
*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth
Group's Telecommuter Policy.

-Rhode Island or -Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for
California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey,
Rhode Island or Washington residents is $16.00 to $31.44 per hour.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to
education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to
your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a
