this position is for someone with a fabrication or manufacturing background

This position requires above-average attention to detail

concern for the exact correctness of work

and a strong commitment to completing tasks on time. The person in this position will take work seriously

has a strong sense of duty

and is disciplined. You much have stayed awake in geometry class for a minimum of 1 year.

Knowledge of general carpentry skills and previous metal fabrication experience is preferred

but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Additional Requirements:

• Running a break and shear (both manual and automated) to fabricate sheet metal
  
  including trim work and flashing.
• Operating a forklift to pack and prepare metal for shipment
  
  as well as other shop duties as they come up.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Driving company vehicles as required.
• Manage inventory and materials for the Sheet Metal Department.
• Ability to perform an installation as needed.
• Clean and maintain a safe
  
  organized workspace.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• A basic grasp of math
  
  especially geometry.
