We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating, and maintaining our press brake machines to produce high-quality precision sheet metal components. Your expertise in reading blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling, and adjusting machine settings will be essential to ensure accurate and efficient bending operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine bending sequences, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Select the appropriate tooling, such as punches and dies, based on material type, thickness, and bending requirements.
• Adjust machine settings, including speed, depth, and angle, to achieve precise bends and shapes.
• Load and position sheet metal blanks onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
• Monitor the production process to ensure consistent quality and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged tooling.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
  Requirements
  
  
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of press brake machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
  • Ability to select appropriate tooling based on material type, thickness, and bending requirements.
  • Skilled in adjusting machine settings to achieve precise bends and shapes.
  • Familiarity with different types of sheet metal materials and their properties.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements.
    Schedule
    
    
    • Second shift Monday through Thursday 2:15pm to 11:45pm, and Friday 2:15pm to 6:15pm
