This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 715 South 8th Street Minneapolis, MN 55404
Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  
• 
  Interviewing clients in a hospital setting and/or home visits to assist them in obtaining maximum benefit coverage.
  
  
• 
  Completing application for state and federal programs, reviewing medical records and taking all actions necessary to expedite benefit approval.
  
  
• 
  May be responsibility for maintaining ongoing communications with government agencies regarding the status of claims.
  
  
• 
  Provide updates and assistance to hospital personnel and other staff as needed.
  
  
• 
  Maintain documentation of status of claims and client contact on Change Healthcare computer system.
  
  
• 
  Other responsibilities that are customer specific.
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of state and federal programs.
  
  
• 
  Assisting with mentorship opportunities and team trainings.
  
  
• 
  Pull daily referral reports.
  
  
• 
  Responsible for internal reporting.
  
  
• 
  Ability to float to different facilities if needed.
  
  
• 
  Assist with customer meetings when needed.

  Required Qualifications:

    High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
    
    
  • 
    1+ years of healthcare experience
    
    
  • 
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
    
    
  • 
    Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
    
    
  • 
    Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
    
    
  • 
    Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
