Are you ready to take your manufacturing career to the next level? Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Waite Park, MN. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator positions on 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 1:30pm-11:30pm. This position trains on 1st shift and then changes to 2nd shift after training. Compensation for this temp-to-hire opportunity is $23.00-$26.45 per hour. Interested? Learn more below!
What a Machine Operator will do:

Prepare and perform operations on product such as setting up and running general machining equipment including manual lathes and may also include saws, grinders, drills, mills, and polishing rounds
Inspect product to print requirements
Monitor products on a continuous basis to ensure products are of prescribed quality and meet both Customer and Company expectations, requirements, and standards

What you need to be a Machine Operator:
- Knowledge and/or experience with lathe equipment
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools, including their uses and maintenance
- Basic knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged
