Job Description PURIS produces and provides high-quality, non-GMO,
organic, vegan, and allergen-free pea protein to food manufacturers

solution. We are currently seeking a Corporate Quality Coordinator
to join our team. This individual will work closely with the
business operations team to qualify the quality and food safety
programs of third-party manufacturers and to determine the proper
disposition of all products manufactured at those sites. This
includes reviewing and tracking finished product test results,
generating certificates of analysis, and determining the proper
disposition of all contract-manufactured products. The Corporate
Quality Coordinator will also manage the allocation of
out-of-specification products across the business, in cooperation
with the sales team, and maintain corporate program documents and
supplier quality information across the business. Key
Responsibilities:Evaluate contract-manufactured product test
results for acceptance criteriaMaintain a log of product test
results and electronic files of all outside lab reportsCoordinate
the positive release of contract-manufactured product, including
computer inventory release and paper release recordsEnsure all
positive release procedures have been followed before allowing
finished product to be released for customer shipmentReconcile
finished product inventory at the time of release to ensure all
finished product is properly accounted forPrepare certificates of
analysis for all co-manufactured products, ensuring that proper
results are reported based on customer requirementsEvaluate retain
samples of co-manufactured products and confirm their acceptability
to standardTimely review new co-manufacturing and warehouse sites
for compliance to quality approval criteria, including completion
of site inspections as necessaryCoordinate any necessary
preventative action with co-manufacturing sites and communicate
resolution to customers related to co-manufactured customer
complaintsReview and allocate/plan for all aging and obsolete
inventory of finished products and raw materialsSubmit annual
product certification renewal paperwork, including Kosher, Halal,
Organic, and non-GMO ProjectOrganize and maintain documents for
PURIS, including internal programs, customer files, and supplier
approval informationManage product allocation of all
out-of-specification product manufactured at all PURIS Proteins
sites, in cooperation with sales team and site quality teamsWork in
cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, quality,
R&D, and customer service Education and Experience:BS Degree in
Food Science or related technical field2 years of experience with
quality assurance and food safety in a food manufacturing
settingStrong understanding of food safety regulations and quality
assurance principlesExperience with SQF systemsPCQI certification
preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent
communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a
fast-paced and dynamic environmentMust be able to travel, on
occasion, to PURIS manufacturing sites and co-manufacturers If you
