automating critical administrative functions to enable service
expansion and increased accessibility. - -Position Summary: - The
Twin Cities-based Peer Specialist Supervisor FTE will provide
direct supervision, oversight, and support to a staff team of Peer
Specialists (a.k.a. CPRS, PSS, PRSS) that may be a mix of 1099
Contract and Non-Exempt Employee (FTE).? -Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual

- Collaborates, develops, and implements weekly group supervision
support sessions. - -
- Provides oversight, support, and ensures appropriate coverage
for Clients. - -
- Conducts supervision, training, and support to their Peer
Specialist team to ensure compliance with applicable ethical
requirements, appropriate boundaries, and the ability to articulate
the unique supervisory requirements of the peer program including
individual supervision and group supervision. - -
- Provides trauma-informed and culturally intelligent care for
diverse Peer Specialists. - -
- Maintains accurate and timely supervision reporting and
documentation while ensuring compliance with privacy requirements.

- Engages with Peer Specialist team members to use
evidenced-based tools and curricula to teach life and social
skills, problem solving, and recovery skills with the goal of
promoting self-empowerment of Clients receiving peer services.

- Supports Peer Specialist team members to help participants
focus on strengths and become self-directed in their recovery. -

- Researches, locates, and engages resources to build the Peer
Specialist team skills and ensure quality and appropriate support
for participants. -
- Stay up to date with trends and development in mental health
and substance use disorders. -
- Contributes to the continual supervision, planning,
development, implementation, and evaluation of our Peer Specialist
program. -
- Ensures billable hours for Peers, and particularly FTE Peers,
are hitting minimum performance thresholds (40 hours per week when
fully ramped). - -
- Other duties as assigned by peer supervisor or senior
management. - -Work Schedule: - -This is a full-time role that may
be completed as a hybrid or remote role. Hours will vary depending
on the supervision needs of the peers but generally are expected to
be standard business hours of 8am-5pm. In-person meetings with
leadership staff are required; monthly and on an as-needed basis. -

Education, Experience & Other Qualifications: - -
- Minimum of 1 year work experience providing peer recovery
services. - -
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Any
college is a bonus! - -
- Minimum of 18 years of age or older, as required by DHS. - -

- Current valid driver's license. -
- Experience overseeing, managing, and training team members in a
SUD or other similar setting. -
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -
- Independent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. -
- Strong knowledge of ethics and track record of ethical decision
making. -
- Self-declaration of recovery for 1 year or longer. - -
- Self-declaration of criminal history. -
- Clear results of a background check with findings that do not
exclude applicant from working within healthcare, receiving
Medicaid reimbursement for services and/or being a part of a
CMS-compliant organization. -Nice to Have Education/Experience: - -
- Prior or current CPRS Supervisor experience. - -
- Any college, post-GED education is considered a bonus. -
-Certificates and Licenses: -
- Current CPRS Supervisor-S or CPRS Supervisor-R designation. -

- This position must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver
License as well as have reliable transportation to commute onsite
the MN based SUD Program for the standard work hours as described
above. - -Computer Skills: -
- Effective and/or advanced use of software applications
including Google Suite, MS Office including Excel, Electronic
Health Records, Slack, etc. -Work Environment: The work environment
