How Will You Make a Difference?

• Responsible for day-to-day oversight of the technical service and e-resource functions of the Research & Knowledge Services department
• Work with Director of Research & Knowledge Services and Research Services Manager to identify research and knowledge needs and helping to evaluate and implement effective solutions for legal, IP and business research and analytics
• Assist with maintenance of and coordinating training for the firm's research systems, including those used for resource and request management
• Work with internal and external information providers to maintain service level support and install end-user research tools in line with firm objectives and practice group requirements
• Oversee day-to-day work and professional development of the Technical Services Specialist
• Serve as liaison working with firm's SharePoint developers to maintain information and integrations with firm intranet. Provide user support and training for content authors and others on FishNet team. What Will You Bring to the Table?
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science and MSLIS, other relevant advanced degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with research services/systems in a Library, legal and/or Intellectual Priority setting. Experience leading projects and teams is highly desired
  • Knowledge of and experience supporting systems for research, request and resource management resources integral to research services and knowledge systems
  • Experience with SharePoint and creating data visualizations in Excel, or tools such as Power BI
  • Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and contribute to effective team relationships
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) necessary to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, clients, staff, and vendors with professionalism, courtesy and tact Why Fish?
