Description:Position SummaryThe purpose of this position is to
assist individuals with disabilities in developing vocational goals
through evaluation of their unique needs and strengths. Evaluations
will take place throughout the metro in various businesses that
Rise partners with. As a vocational evaluator you will make
strengths-based recommendations regarding employment options and
assist in the development of a suitable vocational plan through a
person-centered framework. The position is paid hourly with the
potential for additional incentive pay on a monthly basis.Rise is

lives!Responsibilities
- Develop evaluation plans according to referral information and
input from the vocational rehabilitation counselor and the person
being served.
- Meet 1:1 with the people we serve in community businesses that
we partner with. Typical hours are 8 pm to 4 pm daily. No nights or
weekends.
- Determine a persons' physical capacities and work tolerance as
well as assessing their strengths/limitations, intellectual
capacities, emotional adjustment, and social skills as they relate
to employment through direct observation at a community job
site.
- Write final reports summarizing findings from the
evaluation.
- Schedule and conduct intakes and final meetings with referring
agencies.
- Develop community-based evaluation sites.Requirements:
- People with extensive work experience, great people skills and
empathy are encouraged to apply. Great job for a person who is self
motivated and enjoys working independently
- Bachelor's degree in human services, vocational rehabilitation,
or related field preferred
- A valid driver's license and compliance with Rule 11 and MVR
background check required
- Must be independent and flexible to changing work demands
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
- Must be organized
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team is required.
- Note that additional incentive pay above the hourly wage is
available monthly based on revenue goals
- Basic knowledge of computer usage with emphasis on Microsoft
