Impressions (formerly Curtis 1000, Inc.), a division of Taylor
Corporation, located in Byron, MN is looking for an Equipment
Operator in our Finishing/Bindery Department! The incumbent will be
responsible for performing all finishing tasks involved in the
production of our products. This is an entry-level position with

haul.Your Responsibilities:
- Cut to size, fold, stitch, punch, coil, glue or otherwise
finish the product according to job ticket instructions
- Complete tasks, as directed by production schedules, to ensure
timely delivery of products to customers
- Pack finished product into correct packages and boxes, along
with attach appropriate labels and tags to product or boxes
- Examine finished product for quality assurance; report
defective materials or questionable quality issues to Supervisor or
Team Lead
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines, as
required, to reduce problems, maintain quality, and minimize costly
repairs and downtime
- Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly
manner
- Follow standard work methods and prescribed safety practices to
ensure production is as efficient and safe, as possible.Shift
Hours:
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm
- 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11pm - 7 am
- 3x12 Schedule (12-hour shift, rotating days every five (5)
weeks; 6am - 6pm)
- 3x12 Schedule (12-hour shift, rotating nights every five (5)
weeks; 6 pm - 6 am)You Must Have:
- Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to resolve technical issue
and/or provide recommendations
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including
addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication using whole
numbers, common fractions, decimals, and other forms of simple
mathematical skills
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short
correspondence, and job tickets, along with follow directions
- Ability to use basic hand held tools including rubber straps,
plastic bags, plastic packaging clamshells, cardboard boxes, tape
dispensers, and other materials necessary to the production and
packaging of products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability
to work well independently and with a teamTaylor is proud to now
