Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a market leader in advanced paint applicators in Plymouth, MN. We are seeking candidates for Mechanical Assembler positions on 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday) with overtime required occasionally as needed.   What a Mechanical Assembler will do:
  
  • 
    
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
    
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
    
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
    
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repair
    
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
    
    What you need to be a Mechanical Assembler:

    • High School Diploma or GED
      
    • Basic reading skills
      
    • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
      
    • Experience with hand tools
