Custom Mold & Design is currently seeking a Manufacturing
Engineer to support our manufacturing facility in Forest Lake, MN.
This person will have the ability to develop manufacturing
processes, quote parts, possess knowledge of CNC mills & CNC
lathes, and other relevant related job duties.What's Custom Mold &

Engineering, preferred5+ years' experience in a
manufacturing/programming/estimating role, preferred1-2 years'
experience in a CNC machining manufacturing environment and/or mold
Manufacturing industry, preferredKnowledge of engineering or
technical operations including experience in CNC process
development; effective problem-solving techniques; strong knowledge
of blue print reading and familiarity with inspection
equipmentExperience with calculating cost savings and return on
investmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
including presentation skills; effective business correspondence
and reporting; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business
operating systemsEssential Duties:Coordinate, communicate, and lead
new manufacturing programsProvide a technical level expertise in
day-to-day operations.Estimate precision manufactured components
and obtain quotes from outside service providers.Develop
manufacturing process steps to provide high-quality, cost-effective
components for our customers.Manage projects to ensure all changes
in project scope are managed and scheduled effectivelyProactively
anticipate the needs of the customer and/or projectAchieve timing
and cost targets while bringing production ready projects into
manufacturingMonitor set-ups and ensure efficiency, making
corrections as neededSupport manufacturing issues from definition
to problem resolutionMake recommendations to improve processes and
reduce cycle timesPerform all other assignments as requiredWork
Conditions & Physical Demands:This is a non-smoking, professional
tool shop with normal lighting, climate control. The shop
environment may be subject to airborne contaminants and chemical
odors as would be customary in a tool making and/or molding shop.We
