Custom Mold & Design is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our manufacturing facility in Forest Lake, MN. Apply to join our team today.What You'll Love about Custom Mold & Design:Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, short term and long term disability, flex spending, 401k match, and MORE!Continued Education opportunities through our tuition reimbursement programGenerous PTO offerings & 8 paid holidays annuallyGreat opportunities for growth & advancementA family centric environment that hires and develops talent based on our valuesCasual Dress CodeQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferred5+ years' experience in a manufacturing/programming/estimating role, preferred1-2 years' experience in a CNC machining manufacturing environment and/or mold Manufacturing industry, preferredKnowledge of engineering or technical operations including experience in CNC process development; effective problem-solving techniques; strong knowledge of blue print reading and familiarity with inspection equipmentExperience with calculating cost savings and return on investmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills; effective business correspondence and reporting; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business operating systemsEssential Duties:Coordinate, communicate, and lead new manufacturing programsProvide a technical level expertise in day-to-day operations.Estimate precision manufactured components and obtain quotes from outside service providers.Develop manufacturing process steps to provide high-quality, cost-effective components for our customers.Manage projects to ensure all changes in project scope are managed and scheduled effectivelyProactively anticipate the needs of the customer and/or projectAchieve timing and cost targets while bringing production ready projects into manufacturingMonitor set-ups and ensure efficiency, making corrections as neededSupport manufacturing issues from definition to problem resolutionMake recommendations to improve processes and reduce cycle timesPerform all other assignments as requiredWork Conditions & Physical Demands:This is a non-smoking, professional tool shop with normal lighting, climate control.
