Overview: As a Sr Operator, you will provide technical and hands-on
support on increasingly complex products. Your strong technical and
analytical skills will allow you to find and resolve product
failures to serve our customer quickly and accurately. Your
expertise in troubleshooting, testing and correcting malfunctions
in medical devices, and test equipment will aid you in repairing
the instruments that are returned for service. Key
Responsibilities:

- Coordinate flow of return product not limited to receiving
incoming product, decontamination, and outbound shipping of
service-related items
- Disassemble, trouble-shoot, replace components, re-assemble,
and test medical devices following work instructions
- Perform functional testing on medical devices connected to test
automated fixtures following work instructions in an electro-static
discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
- Complete all test procedures and update device history
documentation.
- Operate test equipment for functional tests on medical devices
and troubleshoot to component level failures
- Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy by following
established SOPs and manufacturing instructions as follows:
- Examine parts for correct form, fit, and function
- Maintain good documentation practices (GDP)
- Adhere to established quality systems
- Fastening of parts and sub-assemblies together
- Packaging of parts to become finished goods
- Operating manual, electric, and pneumatic hand tools

- Update software in medical devices following work
instructions
- Update service notes and close out complaints in JDE
- Collaborate with Respiratory Health Customer Service to
maintain high level of communication.
- Crosstrain as needed to support RH servicing activities
- Train others as needed to meet customer demand
- Knowledge and understanding of 5S principles and practices
- Understanding and ability to use basic problem-solving
activities Required Background & Capabilities:
- Technical degree or high school diploma plus experience
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving
experience, and aptitude.
- Work collaboratively across different functions, flexible,
self-directed, and task oriented.
- Must be organized and have a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient with basic hand tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills are preferred
- Must be able to lift 40lbs The successful candidate for this
