paid holidays and a profit sharing plan.SUMMARYThe Tool Crib
Attendant inventories, stores, and distributes hand tools and other
equipment. Maintains tool functionality, calibration
specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent
inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage.
Tool Crib Attendant has training and experience in an industrial
environment with familiarity of machinery and tools. The Attendant
possesses a moderate understanding of the machining practices
within the facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include
the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist with
engineering department activities and be able to carry out new
procedures/programs.Keep an inventory of tools by tracking the
distribution of tools and users in a database or other
system.Orders new tools and equipment or repairs tools as
needed.Tracks tooling cost as it relates to cutter sharpening and
looks for cost savings opportunities.Responsible for tooling
inventory and location accuracy.Creates setup kits for the
manufacturing group.Monitors tool inventory and adjust as needed
based on customer demand.Receives and unpacks incoming materials
and stocks in appropriate, locations.Maintains purchasing data and
provides updates for parts as required.Participates in physical
inventory audits.Ability to communicate with various
departments.Works with vendors on issues ranging from due dates,
invoicing, pricing, repairs and returns.As necessary participates
in re-arrangement of crib layouts.Sets up stock location for new
parts not previously stocked.Marks, Tool Numbers, on new tools not
previously in the system. Other skills/abilities needed for this
position:a technical knowledge and expertise;an analytical approach
to work;good communication skills, both oral and written;the
ability to work affectively with a wide range of people.the ability
to manage time effectively and have good organizational skills;a
self-starter requiring minimal direct supervision. SUPERISORY

TECHNICAL SKILLSWindows, MS Excel, Word, Email, Tool Crib
management software, Predator Tracker EDUCATIONS and or
EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or equivalent.REASONING
