Technologist to join their team. We are seeking a well skilled,
highly productive team player to work with their program. New grads
are encouraged to apply along with others who are interested in
providing Top Notch treatment to patients.Education and
TrainingGraduate of ARRT accredited school of Radiology Technology
required. Venipuncture experience for contrast injection preferred.
Current CT certification required. Current registry (ARRT)
required. Current Minnesota state licensure required. Current
American Heart Association BLS for HCP required. Job
ResponsibilitiesPerforms diagnostic imaging and related procedures
to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention.
Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and
maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care. Delivers
appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring
successful completion of procedures. Assesses the patients physical
condition and age-specific needs. Assesses images for technical
quality, proper annotation and patient identification, ensuring
that all relative anatomy is demonstrated. Applies principals of
radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self and
others. Comprehends and complies with quality control standards and
participates in quality control tasks. Proficient in contrast
material injection with and without use of power injectors.
Administers medical aid as required in cases of adverse reactions
to contrast medial and/or other emergencies. Applies sterile
technique to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases.
Assists in supervision of student technologists. Operates corporate
radiology computer systems effectively and accurately. Possesses
excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
environment.Experience Minimum of 1 year experience in all aspects
of general radiography preferred. Knowledge in all aspects of CT,
including biopsies and 3-D reconstruction required.Related
Functions Follows established imaging technique and procedures.
Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment. Maintains
well-stocked and organized work area. Performs other related duties
