We are looking for a driven Cell Captain who is willing to innovate, create, learn, and grow with us. The Cell Captain performs all tasks required by Hand Finishing Assembler, as well as supervises the activities and training needed within a cell. The Cell Captain works as part of a team to provide customers with a quality, packaged product in a timely manner. 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available!Some of the duties would include

• Directs cell personnel in training and performing their assigned tasks.
• Formats and prints any required carton labels.
• Performs all necessary written internal and external documentation with complete and accurate information as required by internal procedures (load tags, etc.) and/or customer specifications.
• Reads, reviews and understands the assigned jobs according to specifications.
• Performs manual tasks such as assembly kitting, inserting, hand folding, hand collating, taping, etc. efficiently and accurately according to job ticket and job specifications.
• Sets up and operates equipment such as conveyors, tape machines, strapping machines, shrink wrappers, etc. in the correct manner.
• Maintains quality standards by inspecting for quality, documenting quality issues discovered and reports them to the Hand Finishing Lead on duty.
• Clearly communicates thoughts and listens effectively with hand finishing staff and other functional departments in a manner that is appropriate with company culture.Some key must-haves are:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
