Yardstik is growing and we are adding a Customer Support Associate to our team. We are looking for someone who is as passionate as we are about building a best-in-class customer experience.This role will be the first line of support for the clients and users of our background screening services. You will be responding to inquiries, troubleshooting and providing status updates primarily by email, but occasionally phone. Our office is located in Edina, MN with a hybrid working model. What you will do in the Customer Support Associate role:

  • Respond to email and phone support concerns with empathy and confidentiality
  • Educate clients on Yardstik products in a timely manner by building a thorough understanding of our products and processes
  • Escalate more complex issues to appropriate party
  • Assist clients by sharing best practices for products
  • Manage the que of customer support tickets using Service Cloud, a Salesforce product
  • Provide feedback on products and customer support issues in order to more effectively serve compliance, safety and trust within the industry
  • Process high volume workflow with maximum possible accuracy, quality, and compliance
  • Contribute to improving current processes through recommendations for improvements
  • Proactively provide updates to stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently to all involved parties
  • Strive to exceed assigned goals while delighting our clients and users
  • Carefully manage confidential and sensitive information daily
  • Perform other related duties as required and assignedYour experience and qualities might look something like this:
    • Experience with customer service principles and practices
    • Fueled by helping others and providing exceptional support
    • 1 year of customer support experience preferred
    • Ability to de-escalate issues
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high standards for follow up
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Comfort using Microsoft Office Products and the Google Suite
    • Experience with Service Cloud a plus
    • Adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
    • Steadfast focus with the ability to juggle competing demands
    • Experience within a background screen environment is a plus
    • Experience in compliance, risk, fraud, trust and safety is a plus
