Job Description:

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under general supervision, and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations, accurately and professionally provides members with a variety of financial transactions. Assist Branch Manager with the daily functions of teller operations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Responsible for balancing the branch and cash vault, if applicable, daily.Assist Branch Operation Coordinators with processing cash orders.Maintain branch over/short, key and combo logs.Responsible for branch document retention.Assist with daily operations for teller operations to run efficiently and effectively.Assist Branch Manager with mentoring of employees on professionalism, member service and accuracy.Load and balance ATM/PTM/XTM/TCRs specific to branch location on a regular basis and maintain as necessary.Actively cross-sell and make qualified referrals for additional appropriate loan, deposit and fee income products and services in-person, over the phone and in writing.Process member transactions as requested, recognizing red flags regarding fraud and scams.Convey processional image at all times by being respectful, courteous and considerate of members and co-workers through verbal and non-verbal communications, adhering to dress code and maintaining a clean and organized work space.Performs other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE:Complies with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/CIP (U.S. Patriot Act) procedures and policies.Provides members with courteous, friendly service, which exceeds their expectations while processing transactions promptly, efficiently and accurately.Follows Wings Financial CU's "Standards of Professionalism" to represent the credit union to members in a professional manner through written and verbal communications, attitude, business attire, work area, and thorough knowledge of our products and services.Meets individual quality service goals as identified in your performance action plan.Be an effective team leader through cooperation, flexibility, dependability, attendance, lack of tardiness and participation at meetings and training.Accurately applies technical job knowledge and skills to complete all work in a timely manner in accordance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements while managing varying degrees of work.Meet department goals and deadlines.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:College degree preferred, high school diploma required and two - three years teller experience in banking/financial institution.Desire, ability and experience in working with and helping other people in a professional setting, as demonstrated by a positive, enthusiastic attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, professional business appearance, and previous work experience.Ability and desire to maintain quality of service while performing multiple tasks.Excellent oral and written communications skills.Working knowledge of computer software (i.e. Windows, Microsoft Office).Flexibility in scheduling.
