Smiths Medical is seeking Regulatory Affairs students to be
technical contributors on a large project with our Regulatory
Department. Headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, Smiths Medical is
a leading innovator and producer of medical devices that provide
critical patient care to leading hospitals and facilities around
the globe. The company specializes in creating low-cost, highly
reliable and precise devices for infusion pump systems, rapid fluid
warmers, respiration assistance, and implantable vascular access
We are seeking students who are currently enrolled in a
Regulatory Affairs and Services program.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accept work direction from Project Leads and Regulatory Affairs
leadership which includes; assessment of legacy changes,
participating in continuous improvement initiatives, problem
solving, and participating on cross functional teams.
- The Intern will be assigned work with Quality and Regulatory
teams to perform data mining, assessment of legacy product changes,
and other project-related work as appropriate.
- Intern presentations of work at end-of-term to division
- Regulatory Affairs students with minimum first year completed
by end summer of 2021
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Strong attention to detail and quality/regulatory aptitude
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to take work direction as a learning opportunity
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently
and organize/prioritize job assignments and tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, rapidly changing
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to management
and cross functional team members
