ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Reviews delivery tickets with customer & oversees the service of vehicle.

  • Promote upgrades and accessories to customers.

  • Write service tickets for warranty work on new units purchased by customers.

  • Interact with Warranty Department to get authorization for Warranty repairs.

  • Check status of sublet work and parts orders.

  • Communicates with customer, Service and Sales departments as to progress of the coach.

  • Works with the sales department as required.

  • Meet and greet the customers on day of delivery and Service appointment.

  • Meets or Exceeds NPS Requirements and ensures customer satisfaction

  • Collects all accounts receivable for service work

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business

  • Handles customer and sales issues and complaints

  • Meets service customer, reviews coach with customer to understand repair need & customer requirements, writes up Repair Order.

  • Up-sells service jobs to customers.

  • Coordinates with Team Leader to communicate requirements of service job

  • Coordinates ordering of Special Order Parts & arranging sub-lets internal & external as required.

  • Coordinates with the Team Leader to prioritize coaches in delivery process, clarify customer requirements, & ensure schedule is being met. Constantly communicates with customer during the repair process.

  • Ensures all work is completed on the RO.

  • Reviews jobs with the customer at pick up to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Meets with all customers where we have not met the customers service expectations and coordinates with the Shop Foreman and Lead Tech as required

  • Works with each customer that has a complaint to resolve the issues

  • Follows the escalation process with customer problems

  • Keeps the customer informed on the progress of their coach until it is picked up & signed for by the customer

  • Greets all customers promptly and gives fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance

  • Account for all documents and ensure that none are missing

  • Maintains reporting systems as required by general management (SOP, Open Repair Orders etc)

  • Follows all companies policies and procedures

  • Establish and maintain good working relationship with all manufactures and vendors

  • Attend all company-required meetings.

  • Additional responsibilities as requested or required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record to meet insurance requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English

  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities

  • Detail oriented

  • 2-5 years of previous Service Writer experience (RV or automotive)

  • Previous sales experience preferred

  • Mechanical knowledge helpful

  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
