KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Data Engineer in Technology Enablement for our Consulting practice.


  • Rapidly architect, design, prototype, and implement architectures to tackle the Big Data needs for a variety of Fortune 1000 corporations and other major organizations
  • Understand the application and platform development goals and design effective solutions
  • Advise on good usage of frameworks, platform and architectural approcahes
  • Develope User Interfaces, APIs and other microservices
  • Write quality unit and automated tests
  • Assist with conducting data design, API design and application component architecture


  • Minimum one year of progressive experience developing software
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Server side API development in Java Spring Boot, .Net Core, Node, and Python, mobile development in Swift, React native or Kotlin a plus
  • Experience with RDBS and NoSQL Databases such as Postgres, MySQL, Mongo, and Cassandra and data platforms such as Kafka, Spark, and Storm
  • Development and deployment onto cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Ability to travel as needed and applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Colorado Salary Statement:

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.

Colorado Salary Range: Low: $39900 - High: $87300
