Job Description:

The Product Management Director Auto Vertical Leader will be the visible Wolters Kluwer GRC Compliance Solutions executive to the auto market leveraging their deep knowledge of the Auto Lending Market, Competitive Landscape and key ecosystem Stakeholders combined with excellent communication and analytical skills. The industry strategist will use existing and new relationships and insight to shape Go to Market Strategy. They will look to anticipate how decisions are made, explore and uncover the business needs of target customers to drive growth. The successful executive will target 50%+ industry adoption of digital solutions and grow our existing market share over the next VSP period.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Play a significant role in the 3-year Business strategic and planning exercise. Evaluate and present various build, buy and partner strategies. Develop Industry Business Cases/Execution Plans
  • Work with customers in various ways to ensure the product is providing maximum business value and continued consumption. In conjunction with the Product team, drive New Product Innovation and Feature/Functionality prioritization
  • In partnership with the Marketing team, create the value proposition for the [industry], to be utilized by the sales teams to inform customer strategy. In conjunction with the Marketing team drive Media Strategy and Thought Leadership Strategy
  • Identify, Communicate and Monitor Competitive and Industry Trends to drive market strategy
  • Set industry benchmarks and KPIs
  • Work with VP Marketing and Strategy and EVP & GM of Compliance Solutions to set revenue and sales targets and carry overall responsibility for achieving those goals within the parameters agreed to by Executive Board (budget)

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the Auto vertical with experience in digital lending
  • Executive presence and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives (internal and external)
  • Knowledge of Auto Lending ecosystem, digital and traditional
  • Growth mindset
  • Experience leading directly and indirectly all GTM functions for vertical focused operating teams for Fortune 500 Expert Solutions companies, highly preferred
  • Prior P&L, sales, and revenue responsibilities with a demonstrated track record of delivering results at scale over a 3-year period of time.
  • Acquisition due diligence and integration operating experience, highly preferred
  • Experience leading both start-up (less than 5 FTEs), scale (at least 50 FTEs), and working in a matrixed environment thru influence (at least 200 FTEs)
  • MBA or equivalent experience, highly preferred

Up to 50% of the time - Domestic or International
