The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of
Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving
patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and
administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown
Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago
Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the
campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is
the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an
internationally themed public market and residential units.
Responsibilities The Senior Business Consultant within Consumer
Insights and Analytics is responsible for care continuum
partnerships, strategic partnerships, market insights, new business
development opportunities, process planning, and execution. Leads
the project life cycle for these initiatives from opportunity
assessment through implementation in partnership with Executive,
Senior Leadership, Marketing, and Clinical Leads. Individual will
connect actionable market and consumer insights to a variety of

business and market opportunities.
• Develops deep understanding of the market.
• Firmly grasps the competitive landscape across health systems,
providers and payers.
• Builds business case for growth tactics, understands strategic
value levers, and possesses a tactical viewpoint of executing on
strategy. Cultivates and manages relationships with service line
• Collaborates with leadership, corporate finance, clinical
teams, IT, and marketing to develop inclusive planning
• Executes analysis to drive decision-making activities.
• Develops effective, timely, and professional materials for
senior leadership review and approval.
• Creates and presents business case deliverables as needed.
Facilitates strategic planning and market research.
• Leads strategic planning engagement efforts across multiple
service lines and synthesizes organizational strategies.
• Collaborates with leaders to develop strategic growth plans
and executing plan objectives.
• Guides strategic market insight planning sessions.
• Utilizes market analytic tools and data analysis to build and
inform the strategy.
• Incorporates best-in-practice planning methodologies including
using market assessment and competitive research.
• Serves as the content expert in clinical service line

Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing,
healthcare, or related field.
Master's degree preferred in business administration or health
Minimum of 6-8 years of applicable experience
6+ years of experience working with senior leadership
6+ years of experience in a healthcare provider setting
6+ years of experience in analytics, insights generation,
leveraging a wide array of analytic and visual tools (i.e. Tableau,
PowerBI, SPSS, SAS)
Experience working with and influencing Executive
Ability to meet tight timelines, quickly adjust priorities, and
maintain high quality with a positive can-do attitude.
Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve outstanding
Ability to lead others from ambiguity to decision-making.
Ability to design and lead strategic development activities.
Proficient analytical and data management skills, including
statistical analysis and finance.
Exceptional skills in presenting complex information both
