Job Description:
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a respected leader in global
relief and development, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations
Manager for our Printing Media division. This role is crucial in
overseeing the operational aspects of our print production
facilities, ensuring both efficiency and alignment with MCC's
mission of community partnership and sustainable development. As a
manager, you will lead initiatives to enhance productivity,
maintain quality control, and foster a safe, inclusive, and
motivational work environment. This position requires a blend of
technical expertise in printing media and strong leadership skills,
promoting both operational excellence and workforce development.
Manage daily operations in our printing facilities, ensuring
compliance with both internal standards and industry regulations.
Lead a team of production staff, providing training, development,
and performance management. Develop and implement strategies to
increase productivity and reduce costs while maintaining
high-quality outputs. Collaborate with other department managers to
align production with organizational objectives. Maintain equipment
and supplies, scheduling regular maintenance and upgrades as needed
to avoid operational disruptions. Monitor production metrics and
prepare detailed reports on findings and improvement strategies.
Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed to maintain a
safe working environment. Proven leadership and management skills
in a manufacturing setting Strong understanding of printing
technology and processes Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to strategize and solve problems efficiently
Knowledge of quality standards like ISO and Lean Manufacturing
